Trollstigen by CalleHoglund Trollstigen by CalleHoglund
The tourist shot. Lots and lots of people stops here every year to watch/take pictures of this spectacular view of Trollstigen - The Troll Ladder (more info here: [link] )
I wanted to document it as well, although I choose to do a vertical panorama, in this case cropped to a square in the end to try and show how huge this valley really is. This one containing 5 [][][][][] shots.
We went down those hairpins and curvy roads below after this stop, not the easiest thing to do with a huge motor home, recreational vehicle or whatever its called.

Submitted a larger version than usual, full view...
Cheers!

Dayumn!

Thanks for uploading a large size of this. It really adds to the sheer size of the valley, as well as it draws the viewer in more.

Great shot, sir, and beautifully constructed pano (no sign of the joins anywhere!)

I imagine it was quite a drive along that road in a motorhome. Not for the faint-hearted!

:D

Thank you!
The secret making panos like this is to take a lot of pics to make it easier for the program to match the pictures when merging them together., and of course with the help of a tripod.

Wow. Those are some pretty severe rises and falls there. I'm surprised they were able to build roads at all!

Quite the dynamic capture :)
