Standing outside a fence, just barely getting the camera over it. Wish that the plants wasn't there now, didn't care about them when I took the shot, but now they bug me. Oh well. A LE shot near the subway station close to my apartment.
I actually love the plants. It's an interesting conceptual contrast to the fly-by yellow lights of the train. And the crispness of the whole photo, even when the train gets blurry, is something I know many people have troubles capturing. Well done. :]
Wonderful shot. I really like this as it's a sort of combination between a nature- and an urban landscape. To me this shot is very inspirational as I moved to the Randstad (Rotterdam, The Hague, Amsterdam) this summer. It's relatively green metropole, but because it's very flat it's inevitable to include the human elements in the landscape. You did this very wonderful!
Once the band KLF existed - they had a song named exactly like the title of your artwork - Last Train to Trancentral - not sure if it is coincidence or is the expression just so well known But this is what the title reminded me..
Nice shot! I agree with that there could be more freedom for the photograph withOUT the straws.
What was the exposure time by the way? (Can't see in here in EXIF area) It seems a couple of nice seconds - OR was the train just so fast
With the minimalism in mind, I'd even somehow like to get rid of the trees behind the train.. But in one way or another - great shot!
